Things New Users Need to Know
Here’s a summary of things you need to know about MagicThemes and how it works.
Goals
MagicThemes aims to provide clean, simple, minimalistic, yet creative Joomla templates.
All our premium templates starting with Pictra and Paradox will be full HTML5 using CSS3 and other cutting edge technologies. Because it’s HTML5, our templates will also work seamlessly with all modern Mobile Devices and surprisingly, with Internet Explorer 6(partial), 7 and 8!
Site Features
Really Simple Interface
Our Members area is well… underwhelming. It’s so simple you can easily find what you want. If you want to download templates, it usually takes 2 clicks from the dashboard. 3 clicks if you move to the next page of the list. You can download our templates from the demo pages once you are logged in.
Support
Club members will enjoy priority support through the MagicThemes Forums. Users who registered for a Free Account can still access the forums and ask questions on certain categories.
Persistent Licenses
In other template clubs, once your membership expires, you won’t be able to access the download section anymore. So if you lost your template installers, you lost them forever. You need to renew your membership to download things again.
Here in MagicThemes, you can always download the files that you bought. Your License Credits will never expire. After purchasing a Template using a License Credit, you will always be able to download that template(and its updates) forever.
Twitter Connection
One feature we added recently is connection with Twitter. If you are already registered, just log in. Then in the dashboard, click on the “Connect to Twitter” button. Your details will automatically be updated using your public Twitter credentials.
If you have successfully integrated your Twitter account with MagicThemes, you can just “Use Twitter to Log-in” in the login box.
We are also working on integrating your Google Accounts in the future. Stay tuned!
