At this very early stage, MagicThemes can’t promise to release 1 template every month so we decided to temporarily leave the “template club” system. We initially thought we can, but our team is still small, and we still can’t invest full time in the development of templates since we still don’t have any revenue from MagicThemes.

We’re now using a pay-by-credit System

Because of these considerations, we decided to use a pay-by-credit system. Basically, you buy credits to purchase templates that you like. This would also give us the time to prepare the templates thoroughly before release. Maybe a 2-month release cycle is the most possible scenario. 

We could actually release templates every month but the quality would be very low. We don’t like that! We want to be known as a template store that provides high-quality templates.

Since no one has paid anything yet, changing our system this early will not have unfair consequences.

It may just be Temporary

But we don’t plan to do this forever. If ever our customers demand that we transform into a Template Club, we will! If we can grow our team and if we have enough revenue to stop client-work, template club is the way to go and we will release high-quality templates every month!
